Nash Habib was one of the fortunate individuals. Nash Habib had escaped the war when he was a child, fleeing Iraq with his family to Greece, a nation renowned for facilitating refugees' journeys to the United States. Nash Habib arrived in the United States on his 18th birthday, December 17, 1992. Nash Habib lacked a high school diploma, spoke little English, and struggled with reading and writing.
